Hello again

Hello again people, it's been quite a long time.

Got quite a bit of news to get through, not sure if I can manage it all in one go.

Or at all.

As I'm in quite a lazy mood I may leave it until later.

random fact of the day

Baseball was invented by a british person.

Today I had the best bus ride ever. the driver was amazing. he seemed to have the ability to know loads of different pieces of information. he was like a scottish Stephen Fry.
I learnt more on the bus than I did at school. the man was a genius.
in other news I had a game of hangman in biology as usual. must say I have to watch more films if I want to win. also it was agreed that I look like brad pitt. when I asked neily who he was he claimed to be matt damon, good times.
also this slightly funny event happened:

me: so its a country in asia.
someone else: I know! germany!

I worry about some people

Why do I do these things 2

I've been at it again. potentially ruining a situation between me and someone else not once but twice in one week. Not content with spoiling something good a few days ago, I found a way to cause more trouble. I'm not really going into the details here but everything did get a bit strange, with both sides refusing to blame each other. Yet we both know who is at fault. I would happily give anything for the situation to be better.

In happier news, it was a great night on monday. Even though I paid £3 to get into a party which I left after 30 mins due to the lack of partyness. I think I should ask for my money back.

The real fun began after we left. We ended up in a place that sold £1 drinks. I love the £1 chips offered at a nearby takeaway, but I'm liking £1 drinks even more. so we had quite a few. Then some random lass started staring at me. It makes a guy feel a bit out of place. so I left.

Why do I do these things? 14th Feb 2009

What a day yesterday was. two equally good things happened. well it was acually 3, but two of them happened at the same time.

so here's the start of what happened.

I had set the alarm on my phone to wake me up at 7am. we were meeting at 11 in the town and I didn't want to be late. although my phone had done its job and woken me up, I didn't actually get out of bed until about 2 hours later. laziness is becoming a habit now.

anyways, I decided I had better look smart, so I chose my new jeans and a shirt I have. also, I took my lucky chain, it hasn't failed me yet so I thought it would work again.

Just noticed that I haven't actually said anything except the fact that i got out of bed and put some clothes on.
If you really have to know I was going out with a friend who I have known for quite a while but I havn't really seen that much of. and there were some other people present.

So, I arrived at the designated meeting place, the cinema, at exactly 11am. the time we had agreed on. I'm amazed that I had actually got somewhere on time. I was even more amazed to be the first person there. that doesn't usually happen. as I waited crazy thoughts ran through my mind. had I been stood up? Did they decide to stop waiting for me and go and watch the movie?

but the craziest thought was that i had got the wrong time. 11am and 1pm look very similar. I had convinced myself that I had made a misteak and that I should come back later. but at that moment she had arrived. I'm not that good at thinking of much to say except the obvious, so I said hello.

We had chosen to see Bride Wars. That was after we had decided to see slumdog millionaire but it was at the wrong time so we couldn't watch that one. I'm not going to comment on the movie, but needless to say it had a lovely happy ending. also, I had no leg room. it would appear that cinemas are not really designed for those of us who are over 6 foot tall. when I am in charge there will be enough leg room for tall people in all cinemas. and also on buses.

after this we went for something to eat. we had to wait ages as the restaurant was packed. you should have seen our faces when we realised why it was so busy. it was great and the food was great. but I made the biggest mistake I could have made besides failing to notice the correct spoon for the soup. I won't talk much more about what I had done, but needless to say, I am an arse sometimes. I am not a master in the art of subtlety.

But apart from that, I must say it was quite a good day. and when I had got home we talked on msn until about 1am. in that time we had agreed we would go out again sometime, but just as friends. I commented that my thoughts we now irrelevant. she knew what I meant and said we should take things slowly. This made me remember times before when I tried to hurry things along. if I hadn't made them misteaks, I would not have been where I was yesterday. with one of the nicest people I know.

That was one of the good things that happened. for the next good event I have a story to tell.

26th may 2008. I went to the 3volution festival in newcastle with baker. it was a glorius day with the sun shining down. it was great. so good I got sunburn on half my face. but looking back, it probs wasn't as good as yesterday. but back to the story, when we were watching one of the bands, the singer got everyone in the crowd to sing along to the song. it was a fun experience but since then I had been searching everywhere for it. well yesterday I had found it. turns out its by Lightspeed Champion and it is called Madame Van Damme. and not 'sick volume 7' as he had claimed.

It goes a bit like this:

I'm the one with the dark hair in the middle.

Until next time, have fun!
